Available Week-End Of June Into July 2012

The nicest beachfront condo at the Pelican Beach Resort just had a cancellation the end of June for 7 nights(available week-end of June into July). Check-in Wednesday June 27th and check out Wednesday July 4th. The total with all taxes and fees is $1735.00. Last week this week was booked but they had to cancel(if you cancel 2 weeks out or more you lose no money at all).

I expect this week to also be taken rather quickly. I had a week in July that came up due to a cancellation but I re-booked it 3 days later so if you are looking for a week on the beach this summer in Destin then call and book #1004 at 731-589-7841.

Update: 06/11/12  Three of those nights have been taken(28th,29th and 30th). I will cut a good deal on the dates July 1,2 and 3rd. The normal rate would be $1057.83 but I will discount them down to $1000.00(total everything).

I just had a cancellation so now have an available week in July 2012 for your Destin Pelican Beach Resort vacation. The dates are check in July 21(Saturday) and check out Sunday the 28th,(7 Nights). If you call the Pelican Beach management company you can rent this week for $1759.35(discount 20% for early booking) but if you call me my  Destin Florida VRBO beachfront rate would be $1723.12.

Two Closest Airports To Destin,Florida

Yesterday I got a call asking what are the two closest airports to Destin Florida? The answer to that question depends on if you are flying in on commercial or flying yourself in. There is actually a small airport almost in the heart of Destin(one mile from my beachfront condo) and its'identifier is DTS. They do not have regular commercial flights in and out. This is where I fly in and rent a car.Here is a link to Destin Jet which is the premiere FBO on the field at Destin. Rental cars are available at all three airports listed here. If you are traveling to Destin by commercial flight, you actually have two choices. The closest is at Ft. Walton and the designator is VPS. This is actually a part of Eglin Air Force Base that is leased by commercial airlines. Here is a link to that airport. This is located just north and between Ft. Walton and Destin and about 20-25 minutes from most of Destin. Another option for you would be the Pensacola International airport. Here is a link to that airport. The drive time from that airport would be just over an hour from Destin. Whatever airport option you chose, make sure to chose the nicest beachfront condo at the nicest family resort on the beach in Destin. My availiblilty calendar is over on the left side. Back From Perfect Vacation On The Beach In Destin

My family and I just returned from the perfect vacation on the beach in Destin. We had a great time and my wife has already booked our early summer vacation for 2013. One would think that we could wait around to book our own Destin beachfront condo but that is not the case. The family who checks out of my unit tomorrow is already asking to re-book for next year. is packed. I talked to the front desk at the Pelican Beach Resort and they told me this is a record crowd(within last 5 years). My family and I are here and we having having a great time. The water is beautiful and warm and the beach still has that white sugary sand. I have to go get ready so I can take the kids parasailing. Headed to #1 Condo In #1 Beachfront Resort In Destin

My family and I are headed next week to the #1 condo in the #1 beachfront resort in Destin. We are so excited to being going home to our second home in Destin. Since #1004 is on the rental program it has been almost fully booked but we grabbed a week on the calendar and now it is our turn. As for me I plan to just relax on the beach and maybe schedule a fishing trip. My wife and daughters all love the beach so I am sure we will all be beach bums. We are driving this time as we have to pick up a friend in Montgomery and the plane is not large enough for all of us plus luggage. I sure wise we were flying because 3 hr flight(airport 1 mile from condo) verses about 10 hours driving is a no brainer for me. I just looked at the calendar and it is pretty booked for June and July but even if your dates appear not to be available please call me because I may have a cancellation.
