I just had a cancellation for my unit #1004 at Destin's Pelican Beach Resort. The now open week begins on Saturday June 11, 2011.
The calendar has been filling up pretty quickly especially since we completed the kitchen remodel and the built-in hallway bunks redo.

Destin Pelican Beach Resort VRBO Reviews
I received a notification from Florida VRBO a couple of days ago about a new review made by my current vacationer in #1004 Pelican Beach Resort Destin. Here is the page which includes his comments. This renter checked out this morning.
I have a good friend who has checked in my unit this afternoon and he just called me to say how beautiful my condo is and how beautiful the water is this afternoon.
Dennis will be there a week and I know he will have a great time. I just looked at my calendar and noticed an open week later in the month of March. March 26 is open for a 7 night stay so call or text me at 731-589-7841 and I will quote you a great rental rate that you cannot refuse.

Unit #1004 Pelican Beach Remodel Job Completed
My father in law and I just returned home from doing extensive upgrades to much of #1004 Pelican Beach Resort Destin.
Here is a list of what we just completed:
1. Kitchen counter tops torn out and replaced with 3cm granite slabs
2. New Kitchen(60/40) stainless(under mount) sink installed
3. New kitchen faucet installed
4. New stainless appliances installed(Bosch dishwasher, Frigidaire gallery stove, Frigidaire space saver Gallery series microwave, all smaller on counter appliances)
5. Old tv and cabinet removed and replaced with new 42" flat screen tv and new stand
6. old bath vanity in master bath removed and replaced with new
7. old cabinet in same bath replaced with new
Back in November we tore out the old hallway bunks and installed new built in bunks complete with entertainment centers. We also replaced the hallway vanity and hanging wall cabinet and installed additional cabinet in short hall.

Updating pelican beach resort #1004 kitchen
I am excited to tell you about updating my kitchen in pelican beach resort #1004. On March 1st, S&S Granite will come in and remove the countertops and measure for granite. They will return on March 4th to install the new tops including a new 60/40 stainless sink and new faucet.
I will arrive late on March 3rd to begin installing new stainless steel appliances, new 40" flat screen tv and cabinet in the living room.
This definitely will not be a vacation for me but will make your vacation a more memorable time for your family.

Booking & Reservation Instructions For Pelican #1004
If you are wanting to book a reservation in my unit #1004 in the Destin Pelican Beach Resort here are the steps.
1. Call, text or e-mail me the dates you are wanting to stay(to make sure thoses dates are available). Since 60% of my bookings come as a result of VRBO, this is the time also to negotiate the total rate with me.
2. Once we determine your exact rate(includes all discounts,fees, and taxes) and you accept that amount then we proceed to step 3.
3. I call the reservation desk at the Pelican Beach and give them the dates you are staying, your name,your total rate, and my booking code A1080.
4. They then give me your confirmation # and instructions for you the renter to complete this reservation by calling them with your charge card #.
5. This is the most important for you to remember: You have only two days to make the above call to give them your charge card number and at this time you can confirm the rate details we negotiated.
6. If after 2 days you have not completed step 5 your reservation disappears.
7. If those dates are still available and you missed your deadline above, contact me and I will call the pelican again and begin the process over.

More Upgrades Again Next Month

We have a Destin granite company installing 3cm Gallio Ornamental granite on the kitchen counters.Then there is plans to change the appliances to stainless steel.
The tv and cabinet in the living room will both be replaced with a 40" flat screen on a nice low profile cabinet.
I just looked at our availability calendar and it is filling up fast. June is the month with the most available days for your vacation(calendar over on the left).
