What are people doing indoors during the bad weather sweeping across the country? They are going online and booking their family vacations to the Destin Panhandle.
Over the last few days I have booked 4 different Destin VRBO requests and all of them were for a week stay in my Destin Pelican Beach Resort unit #1004.
Last week I also had a sign-up by a snowbird for the month of February.
From what I can remember last year, bookings were slow in coming in January and did not really heat up until the middle of February. Maybe this is a good sign for 2011.
