Discounted Vacation On The Beach In Destin

Both of these specials are only good for exact dates in April or May 2012.

Here is the first deal: Check in Friday April 6th and check out Sunday the 8th. For those two nights the regular price would be $590(peak season). My discount price for those two nights would be $475(includes all taxes and fees). This is a first come first serve.

Here is the second deal: Check in on Sunday the 29th of April and check out Thursday the 3rd of May. This is for 4 nights. The regular price for these 4 nights is $878.01. The Pelican Beach management company would make this deal on #1004 at $684.01(for early booking) but my price is $674.00 which is a savings of over 27% off the regular price.

One might ask why I am discounting these dates so heavily and the answer is because they are the only dates my condo is open in April.

When #1004 Is Booked Then What?

I am starting to get lots of people wanting the dates I already have booked for my unit #1004. The first thing I tell them is to check by neighbor's condo next door(1005) for availability then I will help them get a better price.

VRBO Destin Beachfront

Many people trying to book a Destin Florida vacation get on Google and type in VRBO Destin Beachfront.

This condo is registered with VRBO and here is my site there. I tried to get VRBO to allow me to link to this website from my Destin VRBO beachfront condo site but they would not because they believe me to be their competition and I guess I am.

About 5 minutes ago lady called who found me on VRBO yesterday. I gave a her what I thought was a great rate for her vacation but she found something $100 cheaper so she booked(with an outside rental company). She told me she really wanted to stay in my unit but it is not available. She is right in that that rental company does not have access to my unit. She is trying to cancel with that company to come to me but they are wanting to charge her a fee to do so.

If you book my unit, you have until 2 weeks before arrival to cancel without losing any money at all.

There is no place like home!

My family and I just drove to Cape Canaveral and took a cruise to the Bahamas. When we returned to land we drove to Destin for only a one night stay. We felt like we were back home.

Our Destin Pelican Beach Resort condo just happened to be open for 3 nights so we stopped there on the way home. We considered extending our stay an extra day or so but those other two days had just been reserved. It is so hard to only stay in "paradise" for one day and night.

Destin Snowbirds Fly Away In One Week

My Destin snowbirds are flying away in a week. Actually my Destin Beachfront Condo Rental snowbirds check out in one week to return up north.

I received a letter from them yesterday telling me how much they were enjoying their stay in our condo. They also reminded me that they re-booked my unit for next year.

My family and I are headed for a cruise this weekend but plan to come back through Destin and stay in our Pelican Beach Resort condo before heading home in Tennessee.

Flights From Tunica/Memphis(UTM) To Destin(VPS)

The number one search term that people are using to find my site here is Tunica to Destin flights. I wrote a blog post about a year ago announcing the new flight by Vision Airlines.

I received a response to my email to Vision Airlines about flights to and from Destin. On the latest flights map, Vision has no flights at all into Destin.

Destin's Nicest Beachfront Condo Almost Booked Up

Destin's nicest beachfront condo is almost booked up for the first half of 2012. What a difference a $20,000 remodel makes when people are booking a vacation?

In my last post I advertised a full week in March that was available but that is now booked. Looking at the calendar I do have 6 nights open April 15-20th. That booking will run you $975 for early booking(next 2 weeks) and this includes all fees and taxes. Another 6 night block is available from May 6-11. I can let you have those 6 nights with early booking(next 3 weeks) for only $965.00(taxes and fees included). That is a discount of over 25% off the regular rate.

The next full week available is June 16-22. That total price with over a 20% discount off the regular rate is $1750.00(taxes and fees included) if you book early(in next month).

I should have bought more units when I bought this one about 3 years ago but I did not understand that everyone was like me and they love vacationing at the Pelican Beach Resort Destin.
