Here are the Destin Pelican Beach Resort youth activities planned for today.
9am-10am Free Face Painting by the Tiki Hut
10:30am-11:30am Paint Fridge Magnet $5 (Pelican Pool Side)
1:30pm-2:00pm Free Pool Game (Pelican Pool Side)
3:00pm-4:00pm Blanket Volleyball (Pelican Pool Side)
My family spent most of the day on the beach yesterday. The temperature was 91 and skies partly cloudy with a 10 mph breeze out of the southeast. I am sure this is what is helping keep any signs of the oil spill away from Destin.
Time to go, family is pleading with me to hurry so we can get on the beach. If you are considering a last minute vacation to Destin, now would be a great time to get down here as there is no signs of oil(except suntan oil).
