My wife and I consider a Destin vacation as paradise on earth. We just returned from a week in Destin and as always loved our vacation.

This resort was built in 1997 and 1998 and has so many amenities for you and your family. Destin, Florida has been chosen by the Travel Channel to have the best family beach in 2013. Actually they chose the number one beach in ten different categories and Destin came in #1 ahead of Paradise Island,Bahamas and the Outer Banks in North Carolina and Cape Cod Massachusetts.

Good Morning From Pelican Beach Resort Destin

Good morning from Pelican Beach Resort Destin! My family and I arrived at the resort on Monday. Not only was the parking lot full but the beach had lots of guests also. It was strange that many of the beach bums were older guests. The snowbirds will be leaving today and tomorrow morning.

Since there was a snowbird in our unit, these first three days we are in another unit. Right now I am sitting on the balcony watching the fishing boats head out to the fishing grounds.
