The New York Times just published an article about 14 great weekend getaways. On that list was Destin,Florida. Not only because of the beauty of the Destin area did they pick Destin, but also because of the values being offered by the different resorts.
Here is a link to that article. I only found one error in the article. They failed to mention the #1 Destin Resort when it comes to value, amenities and proximity to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. That #1 Destin resort is the Destin Pelican Beach Resort.
